The only utility we recommend for cleaning your  System registry.  Many of these freeware utilities that are touted and dumped on your machine ( sometimes when you don't even want them are PURE Malware.  This one is not.   Works on all flavors of Windows.

DESK DRIVE

Utility

A program that will get rid of the relative drive problem in Windows.  The problem is that when you try to run a program or file with dependent files  from Windows Explorer on a USB Flash , CD, or other removable media it fails because it is looking for the shortcut pointing to the drive when it had another drive letter.

REQUIREMENTS:  Windows  XP or Vista with latest version of  the Microsoft.NET Framework. The Installer will direct you there is needed.

It Can be used in Win 2000 if the .Net Framework 2 is installed but has an oddity when a drive is first run with it.

  A very broad and developing Extraction tool for many rare file compression formats.  Extract files from any type of archive, whether it's a simple zip file, an installation program, or even a Windows Installer (.msi) package. This is still a work in progress, but so far it's proven quite useful and I feel others can also benefit from it.
I should stress that Universal Extractor is not intended to be a general purpose archiving software. It will never replace WinRAR, 7-Zip, etc. What it will do is allow you to extract files from virtually any type of archive, regardless of source, compression method, etc.

Utility to view what files are in operation and use

  Ever wondered which program has a particular file or directory open? Now you can find out. Process Explorer shows you information about which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded.  Usefull for the hacker. No use I can think of for the newbie.
